Lovely historical property in fantastic condition. Jao is an excellent host, very knowledgeable of the area and house. Very comfortable accommodation, great beds and everything we needed for our stay.

The location is amazing, right at the entrance of the wall. It has a private parking so it's so convenient, really couldn't be better! The room was very big, comfortable and clean. The garden is beautiful and a great bonus when travelling with kids... The breakfast was excellent! Especially the home made jams - wow! In the common areas you have coffee, a little fridge if you need, lots of games, crafts and books for the kids... We loved staying here and wished we'd stayed for more than one night! João was very welcoming and told us a lot about the history, the surroundings, the property and more... It's always fun to get to know new people and we loved his information and stories. Highly recommended!!!

Casa Picva is in a great location alongside the town walls with an entrance gate into the centre just outside. The house is full of interesting artwork and artifacts, and the owner is pleased to provide the history of each piece. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a great choice at breakfast and the service is excellent.

The location was fantastic. We had an entrance into the town right out our door step and the hotel included parking! If you love history and art, you will love to visit with the host, who took the time to explain many ancient pieces of art and furniture that has been in his family for over a century! Our favourite place was the beautiful garden where we had wine and coffee- it had a beautiful lemon tree and gorgeous views. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was well worth the 12 euros each.
